About Me

My name is Michael Beals and I'm a 22 year old Korean/American from Manhattan Beach, California (a small beach community within Los Angeles County). I just graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a degree in International Development while also playing on the D1 Men's Volleyball team. I'm pretty tall, 6'6 to be exact, but besides that I'm just your normal guy. A short list of my passions include helping others, sports, the ocean and The Office TV show.

I will be a Community Economic Development (aka Business) Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
